Self-Awareness and Personal Relationships

This seminar helps students read their own emotions and understand the emotions of others more clearly. A focus on emotional intelligence can guide a student’s choices and help ensure that people are treated with respect and kindness, despite any differences. This seminar includes interactive activities that explore personality, temperament, and communication style, all designed to foster positive personal relationships.

Why Teach Emotional Intelligence?

Often, children are told to “be nice” but not coached in how to manage personal relationships. Becoming more self-aware and understanding emotional intelligences helps students make more mindful, conscious decisions when reacting to emotionally charged situations.
