St. Mary’s Academy is Denver’s premier Independent, Catholic, Co-educational PK-8 and All-Girls High School that was established in 1864 by the Sisters of Loretto. It continues to be a forward-thinking educational leader focused on values-based, purpose-driven education with rigorous academics, integrated service learning, outstanding faculty, and a commitment to individualized attention and developing the whole student.

Typical entry points at St Mary’s Academy are as follows, but families with children entering at any grade should not hesitate to contact us:
- Pre-Kindergarten (4-year-olds) for co-ed Lower School
- Kindergarten for co-ed Lower School
- Sixth Grade for co-ed Middle School
- Ninth Grade for all-girls High School

The most valuable thing I learned at SMA was how to be part of something bigger than myself. I was part of this great community that I loved and I did things like travel and learn about cultures and things I wouldn't have otherwise.
