Welcome to St. Mary's Academy

Thank you for your interest in St. Mary's Academy, home of the Wildcats! We are delighted that you are considering our school community for your family.

St. Mary’s Academy planted its roots on the Colorado frontier in 1864 and continues to lead the way. Our founding Loretto School Values of faith, community, justice, and respect transcend time and space. So if you are looking for a community where you will smile and thrive, and learn how we turn challenges into positive change, know that we are ready to welcome you.

Our unique, rigorous, college preparatory curriculum is designed for students who are motivated to learn and grow in a Catholic, independent community. We inspire our students to become powerful agents of change in the world by creating opportunities for them to find their own path.

The Admissions Team looks forward to learning more about you and your family and how we can best serve you in this process.

Learn more about our application process.

The most valuable thing I learned at SMA was how to be part of something bigger than myself. I was part of this great community that I loved and I did things like travel and learn about cultures and things I wouldn't have otherwise. This showed me how fortunate I am to have the life that I do, and that I can make a difference in the world.
