The skills that I learned at St. Mary’s Academy have been absolutely invaluable in my life at Oxford and beyond. I genuinely cannot thank St. Mary’s Academy enough for everything it’s done to prepare me for the next chapters in my life."

Miranda Loughry '17

Fifty years ago, when I graduated from SMA, I had NO idea how often I would silently thank my parents and the faculty for giving me a solid education to "launch" me into college and beyond. Those years at St. Mary's is the gift that keeps on giving!

Universal Education Supporters (www.uesdenver.org)

  • Universal Education Supporters serves Catholic Education, Pre-Kindergarten through college, and helps families meet their tuition obligations or other educational costs through scholarships. UES contracts with Aramark and Centerplate to operate concession stands at multiple sports parks in the Denver metro area. Once families become a member of UES, family members will have access to the UES scheduler, and will be able to sign up for the events that one might be able to volunteer. In turn, Aramark and Centerplate make contributions to UES, and UES makes these funds available for scholarships to Catholic schools. Scholarships are paid directly to students/parents and can be used to pay tuition and related education expenses (books, supplies, etc.).

ACE Scholarships (https://www.acescholarships.org)

  • ACE Scholarships provide children of low-income families with scholarships to private schools in grades K-12, and to advocate for expanded school choice.

Since its inception in 1864, St. Mary’s Academy has been dedicated to offering a premier education to a dynamic and diverse community of exceptional learners. The financial obligation of private school tuition as an investment in a child’s future. We are committed to keeping tuition as affordable as possible. Our Board of Trustees carefully considers the budgetary demands of the school, while prioritizing our students’ and teachers’ resource needs for success.

We use School and Student Services (SSS) to process financial aid applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. Based on the financial information you provide, SSS gives St. Mary’s Academy an estimated amount your family can contribute to educational expenses. This helps the school make fair and objective financial aid decisions. To begin your financial aid application for the 2019-2020 school year, follow these steps below:

financial aid

St. Mary's Academy recognizes that enrollment requires a substantial financial commitment, and we offer tuition assistance for grades K-12 to make education affordable at St. Mary’s Academy. SMA is proud of its long tradition of providing tuition assistance across our three divisions. St. Mary’s Academy typically awards approximately $1.9 million in need-based tuition assistance to 31 percent of the student body. Awards range from five percent of tuition to over 90 percent. These funds are made available from generous donors who value a St. Mary’s Academy education.
