High School Athletics

SMA Athletics has a strong history of developing scholar-athletes grounded in the Loretto School Values of faith, community, justice, and respect. We foster a culture of healthy competition, self-advocacy, and acceptance. Scholar-athletes experience personal growth as they develop leadership and collaborative skills.

Fall sport registration is required to try out for your preferred sport. Please fill out the registration form by August 6, 2025.
Please note, a CHSAA physical form is required to be up-to-date and on file to participate in SMA Athletics.

Fall sport try outs begin August 11, 2025.
Try outs for Englewood High School Cheerleading are May 5-9.
Athletes interested in trying out for EHS Cheerleading through our co-op program should contact Coach Ginger Rode.

Athletic Wellness

The Strength & Conditioning and Nutrition programs empower scholar-athletes to build physical resilience and fuel their performance through science-based training and education. All athletes engage in seasonal strength and conditioning sessions tailored to their sport. Monthly nutrition seminars provide practical guidance to help students make informed choices that support athletic success and lifelong wellness.
