Middle School P.E. and Athletics

St. Mary's Academy has a strong history of developing scholar-athletes who are grounded in the Loretto School Values of faith, community, justice, and respect. We foster a culture of acceptance, self-advocacy, and healthy competition. The Middle School P.E. and Athletics program is integral and connected to the holistic experience of every participant. Scholar-athletes experience personal growth as they develop leadership and collaborative skills.

Physical Education

In Middle School, students take P.E. class as part of their required curriculum. This approach ensures that every students has the opportunity to explore a diverse range of sports within an environment that emphasizes growth and development. Our Middle School P.E. program places a strong emphasis on non-competitive engagement, fostering an active and inclusive atmosphere. Students build fundamental skills and cultivate teamwork through an array of sports activities, contributing to their holistic growth and enhancing their overall educational experience.

Athletics

After school, students can opt in to a competitive sport. This means students get to select which seasons and which sports they want to participate in. Our Middle School teams compete against other ACIS (Association of Colorado Independent Schools) in after school games and matches.
