Originally from Harrison, NJ, a region known as the “Cradle of Soccer in America.” He played soccer in high school, and in college he competed in the Final Four his senior year. Dave coached club soccer for six years between Denver Soccer Club and Colorado Fusion.

From 2012-2020, he coached at DSST-Montview High School for nine years - including nine seasons with the boys and nine seasons with the girls varsity teams. While at DSST-Montview, he won several conference championships and took his team to the Elite Eight in the State Tournament. Dave was awarded DSST-Montview High School’s Coach of the Year for the boys team 2014-2015 and the girls team 2015-2016.

Dave received his US Soccer Coaching C coaching license in March 2009, NSCAA National Diploma in June 2014, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma in July 2015, and a United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma in July 2018. He loves the outdoors. Outside of coaching and refereeing soccer, he enjoys telemark skiing, hiking, and tennis. Dave has been married to his wife, a NICU nurse, for the past eight years, and they reside in Denver.

Assistant Coach: Sasa Teodosijev

A native of Belgrade, Serbia, Sasa Teodosijev has had a passion for soccer from a young age. Beginning at just five years old, Sasa honed his skills on the field, playing goalkeeper for the developmental team FC Resnik, a feeder team for the renowned FC Red Star Belgrade. With a fierce determination and leadership qualities, Sasa was the captain of every team he ever played on.

In high school, he was a standout player, earning the title of the number three goalkeeper in the state of Colorado for 3A schools. Sasa’s skills and leadership continued to shine playing for Jefferson High School. In his first year, he helped lead the team to their first state playoff appearance in 30 years.

In addition to his soccer coaching experience, Sasa has also been a Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist for 15 years. This extensive background in fitness and movement has provided Sasa with a unique perspective and approach to coaching, allowing him to help players not only improve their skills on the field but also enhance their overall physical health and performance.

With a deep love and appreciation for the goalkeeper position, Sasa has dedicated his time to coaching and developing young players. He has served as a head coach, assistant coach, and goalkeeper coach for various teams, including Wheat Ridge Avalanche, PSD Rush, St. Mary's Academy Girls Varsity and JV, and St. Mary's Boys 6th-7th-8th grade. Sasa has also worked with competitive and college-bound goalkeepers, bringing his expertise and passion for the sport to each coaching opportunity.
