Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Kate has spent her whole life playing sports. Growing up in a soccer-playing family, she spent her first fourteen years dribbling before she found her true passion in lacrosse. In her first two and a half years playing lacrosse, Kate received a Division 1 scholarship to play at Lehigh University. She finished her high school career with over 150 goals, 3 All Conference Selections, All American Honors, and 2 All State Nominations. During her high school career she also coached full time for Pittsburgh Youth Lacrosse club where she worked with girls aged 12-14. She mentored three players who went on to receive Division 1 scholarships as well. Kate also coached for her club team, Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club, where she continued growing the game in her hometown.
Studying International Relations and Art in college, Kate has spent the past year since graduation volunteering internationally, traveling, and working with children in her community. She loves anything related to the outdoors, photography, and trying new food. She recently moved to Denver and has been busy enjoying the mountains, sunny days, and live music.
