Coach Sarah Jacobs Morin has been the varsity field hockey coach at SMA since 2014, after joining the Wildcats program in 2012. A Colorado native, Sarah was a multi-sport high school athlete, competing in soccer and field hockey, as well as synchronized swimming, diving, and dance. She was part of three state championship field hockey teams and two state championship soccer teams before going on to play field hockey at Johns Hopkins University. While at Hopkins, she served as team captain and was named Most Valuable Player her senior year. She earned a B.A. in Behavioral Biology with a minor in Entrepreneurship and Management. Sarah remains active in the field hockey community and continues to play in adult leagues. When she’s not coaching or playing, she pursues her other passions as a synchronized swimming coach and snowboard instructor in Snowmass, Colorado. An outdoor enthusiast, Sarah enjoys Orange Theory, snowboarding, climbing, and golfing in her free time.

Varsity Assistant Coach: Maddie Erdman

Coach Maddie joins the coaching staff this year bringing years of coaching experience to the program. A high school field hockey player and DI and DIII lacrosse player, Coach Maddie believes strongly in the transformative power of team sports and is excited to help grow the SMA Field Hockey program!
