Up your game with our Wildcat Summer Sports Camps!

Wildcat Sports Camps offer you an intense and energetic experience full of skill development and game experience. Campers will participate in sessions to improve all aspects of their game including: fundamental skills and techniques, offensive/defensive concepts, and team play. Sportsmanship and fun serve as the cornerstone of our coaching in helping all athletes take their game to the next level. 

The coaching staff is comprised of All-American collegiate athletes guest coaches and our very own highly qualified St. Mary's Academy head coaches, assistant coaches, and former SMA varsity athletes who are competing at the collegiate level.

Speed, Agility and Quickness Camp

This camp is an outstanding opportunity for the beginner, intermediate, or advanced athlete (entering grades 6 - 12) looking to create, sustain, and maximize their athletic performance. The emphasis and desire of this unique camp will be to foster athletic foundation and maximize athletic growth for increased performance and longevity in whatever sport(s) you participate in! Areas of focus will include the establishment, implementation, execution, and education of speed and agility techniques (including acceleration and deceleration of linear, lateral, and angular movements), quickness, full-body functional strength, power, endurance, and injury-preventative movements (including flexibility, mobility, balance, and coordination). There will also be active discussions regarding sports nutrition, athletic recovery techniques, and athletic regeneration. 

The Speed, Agility and Quickness camp will be run by Dustin Greenwood, who is Elite Speed’s Director of Performance. He has a Bachelor's of Science in Sports Management from Concord University and a Master's of Science in Health from Virginia Tech University. Dustin was an accomplished track and field athlete competing in the hurdles, javelin, long jump, 4x100 meters, and decathlon, where he was nominated for Conference Athlete of the Year. Dustin also played wide receiver and quarterback at Concord University. Post collegiately Dustin was recruited and named to the Olympic Bobsled Development Team and competed on the international world-class circuit. Dustin has worked with numerous Olympians, professional athletes, and collegiate and high school athletes. His specialties include biomechanical sprint analysis, neurological repatterning, sport-speci c movement, and high-level plyometric development.

SMA All-American High School Volleyball Camp

Join the elite All American coaching staff for an exciting week of volleyball camp. The coaches consist of All Americans, all conference selections and players who compete professionally. All campers will have the unique opportunity to learn from and interact with high level, accomplished athletes. All high school players are welcome to register. Space is limited so please register in advance. 

August 1 - 3; 8:30 am - 2:30 pm in Bishop Evans Sports Center
$275 per student; Grades 9 - 12

SMA All-American Middle School Volleyball Camp

Join the elite All American coaching staff for an exciting week of volleyball camp. The coaches consist of All Americans, all conference selections and players who compete professionally. All campers will have the unique opportunity to learn from and interact with high level, accomplished athletes. All middle school students, entering grades 6 - 8,  are welcome to register. Space is limited so please register in advance. 

August 1 - 2; 3 pm - 5 pm in Bishop Evans Sports Center
$100 per student; Grades 6 - 8
