The #1 state ranked St. Mary's Academy Wildcats were the first team to punch their ticket to the state championships by winning the 3A Regional Championship on June 7 by 46 strokes over runner-up Faith Christian.
The SMA threesome of Maddy Bante, Mallory Hopper, and Natalie Tatar combined for a score of 241, with Maddy Bante finishing 1st, Natalie Tatar placing 3rd, Mallory Hopper coming in 5th, and Reese Brown in a tie for 19th for SMA's first ever regional golf championship.
The Wildcats advance now to the state tournament in Pueblo on June 21 and 22. Go Wildcats!
