St. Mary's Academy Senior Hannah Reyes has been named a semifinalist for the 2024 Coca-Cola Scholars Program, moving to the next round of the selection process to become a Coca-Cola Scholar.
Hannah is one of 1,514 students selected from over 103,800 applicants to continue through the selection process based on her academic excellence, leadership, and service demonstrated in their schools and community.
“I was inspired to apply to the Coca-Cola Scholars program because I believe in its mission of promoting leadership and service and awarding students the opportunity to further their education. The Coca‑Cola Scholars program recognizes students for their ability to lead and serve, as well as for their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities; I am honored to be selected as a semifinalist.”
Semifinalists are now completing Phase 2 of the application process. Ultimately, only 150 students will be selected as Coke Scholars, each awarded a $20,000 college scholarship.
“We believe that identifying these young leaders throughout the country and encouraging their passion for serving others not only empowers the students but also lifts up those around them,” said Jane Hale Hopkins, President of the Coca-Cola Foundation.
