SMA 2020-21 Reopening Plan
We care, we're prepared, and we're here to support everyone in the St. Mary's Academy community upon our reopening. As always, we're dedicated to having a highly supportive learning environment. We are making full use of our beautiful, 24-acre campus for our full program on site. We are also stretching miles beyond, as we introduce innovative, remote learning technology options in every classroom. Below are our Readiness to Reopen plans designed to meet our guiding principles: to be back together as a community; to have proper protocols and logistics in place to keep our students, faculty and staff safe; to establish classroom and procedures to facilitate and forward learning; and to be innovative and flexible in delivering an outstanding program to all our students.
The St. Mary's Academy IT team has been hard at work this summer upgrading on-line capabilities for our families. For example, you can now complete and submit all necessary health related forms online through our new system, SchoolDocs.
- All parents will receive an email inviting you to log in and join SchoolDocs (more info available in the step by step guide linked below.) If you have not yet received your invitation email, please email email@example.com.
- Health Services information, as well as all health related forms, are available via the Finalsite Parent Portal. See the Community Portals link above in the navigation bar.
- The General Information Form is due for all families by Friday, July 31. If not received by 7/31, your contact information on enrollment forms for the previous year's directory will be used.
- Families in Pre-K: please refer to the forms that were emailed directly to you by Pre-K Director, Johnnie Romano. Those forms can be uploaded into the SchoolDocs system upon completion.
We are also ensuring all parent accounts are current and comprehensive. There are a few actions we need all SMA families to complete in order to get started for the 2020-2021 school year.
Perform the steps linked below for each parent/guardian who wishes access to SMA's on-line portals.
Grateful Plate is providing individual box lunches, plus drinks and extras, for Lower School and Middle School students this year. Please order at least 36 hours in advance. Follow the links below for more information. You can find these same links on your Resource pages for Lower School and Middle School.
