High School Clubs

At the High School, students join together with like-minded classmates or branch out into a new passion. SMA offers tremendous opportunities for engagement in our community. Every SMA student participates in a club, which meets once a month during the school day and more often for special projects. Students may also choose to participate in any number of organizations. Don’t see what you’re looking for? Start your own group next year! We’re looking for agents of change.

High School Activities by the Numbers

Affinity groups

Honor societies

Clubs meet once a month on Wednesday during the school day and sometimes at lunch depending on the club and the project they are working on. Each student can join one club.

Organizations meet during lunch or after school. A student can decide to join as many organizations they would like to be apart of.

Honor Societies

Students apply in December/January to the honor societies that they meet the expectations for, and if selected, meet during lunch.

Affinity Groups

Affinity Groups meet at lunch and students can join any groups they are a member of or want to be an ally for.
